FEEDINGS DURING COVID-19

HONDURAS

"AN ANSWER TO PRAYER"

Our ministry partners in Colombia have been working tiressly to bring food to the most affected during the Covid-19 crisis. They are using this crisis to help the needy and share the Gospel with them. Watch this video in which Yurissa, pastor of House of Blessing Church, shares the process of assembly of the grocery bags and the teamwork involved in this endeavor.

During the month of May [2020] Frontline provided funds to feed 420 families in five different counties in Santa Marta.

"Our friends and neighbors are starving," shared a local from Flower Mountain with us, having given away their own food and begging us to pray for provisions.

Our Honduras director, Meily Garrido, proposed that beans and corn be purchased from local farmers who had been planning to sell at a loss due to travel restrictions and then placed into the hands of the local pastors to distribute in the surrounding villages of Flower Mountain. In god's typical fashion, due to the funds set aside for outreach for mission trips that had to be canceled due to travel bans, not only were dry goods able to be delivered but also egg-laying chickens! Long live the generosity factor!

We continue to assist our missionaries and ministry partners on the field throughout the Covid-19 crisis. Our indigenous missionaries are currently trapped inside their communities as the Brazilian government has ordered mandatory lockdowns, especially for indigenous communities. People are starving, yet some of the indigenous community leaders who work with Frontline have managed to find ways to get food and feed their people. Our friends are deeply grateful to the Frontline family for thinking about them.
